    Meet the Chair of the Research Committee- Dr. Carol Huynh!

    We are excited to share that we have formed a research committee and the Chair of the committee is Dr. Carol Huynh. Dr. Huynh is an Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice within the UNC University System. She earned her PhD in Criminal Justice and her Masters in Psychology from North Dakota State University. Prior to her graduate studies, she attended California State University- Fullerton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Dr

    Lead Advisor to Girls Empowerment receives National Award!

    We have more exciting news to share! Our Lead Advisor to Girls Empowerment received a National award for 2019 for the 2019 Corporation of National & Community Service with the Points of Light Office. In December, Kayla Lewis was nominated for this award for her service to Girls Empowerment with The Angaza Project and just before Christmas, we received the email notifying us that she was in fact issued this award!     The Angaza Project would like to congratulate Board Director & Sponsorship Advisor, Kylee Henneman. Earlier in 2019, The Angaza Project submitted her service record and activities for consideration of the 2019 Award for The Corporation of National & Community Service and Points of Light.
